Hi my name is Chrissy Certytale, and I've lived in Beloit my whole life. Once while I was still in grade school I traveled to New York City for the national spelling bee competition. In between words I was walking along the avenues and came across a dog grooming facility the likes of which I have never seen any where. I vowed then and there to bring that big city energy to our small town. I will give your dogs the spa day that they would receive in the big city with none of the traffic.
As I got older, that dream never left me. While my friends talked about becoming teachers or firefighters, I found myself sketching out floor plans for my future grooming studio in the margins of my notebooks. I imagined velvet-lined waiting benches, dog-safe aromatherapy diffusers, and a washing station that sparkled like something out of a luxury hotel. Most people laughed when I told them my plans—but that only made me more determined.
Beloit dogs deserved the kind of pampering that would make a Manhattan poodle jealous.
So now, after years of planning, training, and saving every penny from odd jobs, I'm proud to bring Tails of the City Spa to life. This isn't just a grooming parlor—it's a full experience.
